Regarding the current situations of the restaurant, we are waiting for approval from authorities.
Construction can be started after we get approval.
Approval for construction is issued by county health department and the city, and it takes time.
Restaurants who want to open have to submit detailed plans which are called blueprints following complicated codes, and sometimes the plans have to change in accordance with indication of the plan checker of authorities.
For example, in the kitchen all the aisles have to have xx inches in width, you have to have at least 8 pieces of xx inch-racks, and so on. So many codes!
America is a great country of freedom, but there are a lot of regulations too~
Ken and Greg, please make it pass soon!
Talking about interior designs with our interior planner.
She gave a lot of great suggestions.
Should look nice!

We finally received the city's approval for construction after waiting for almost 3 months since we applied.
Then we had a meeting for the construction schedule with the landlord and the general contractor.
